Objective:
Students will use a multi-sensory approach for understanding an individual person or event related to the Appomattox campaign or the battle of Five Forks.

Materials:

Research information on the people listed in Activity III and IV

11" x 14" poster board

Other materials as directed on student activity sheet

Suggested Time:

2-3 class periods and home completion as necessary to meet project deadline.

Directions:

Give each student a copy of the Biography Board Criteria Sheet and use the Score Sheet for grading. You may also want to refer to the Biography Board Instruction Sheet for an example.
