My Dear Daughter-

A few lines this is Wed & I hav,nt washed yet & it is raining but I am sending you by parcel post to day a box containing 1 cake 1 chicken 1 Jar pickle little bottle jelly rolls nuts raisins oranges apples- candy Miss Dickey & Nora made candy & send love Merry xmas I hope you will get it in time all ok I forgot to put some Butter in there I sent Roger the same I did not put starch & soap in because I was

afraid the might get mix with food will send some later hope you will Enjoy it love to Alta Miss D. & Nora leave for home tomorrow oh I sent you a little sausage & spare rib it cook a little too much but I had so much to do to get both boxes ready & sent Aunt Jo a a dozen Eggs parcel post so you see how it is. listen Mr Terry stop on

his way to School & gave me $1.00 to send you say he will write you during xmas I am sending $1.00 too making $2.00 I entend to send you 3.00 but I only got my mony from Mr Vaughn. None as yet from Mrs R so I had to send R some also but I will send you another dollar next wk or last of this mother will surely miss you all xmas Aunt Jo send love want B & I to spend Xmas

Also Bee will come tomorrow only here 5 days we will have xmas tree Monday & concert Monday night Odd Fellows will Entertain house hold Tuesday I wish I could send you more but we must thank God for what we have May God bless you & A Merry xmas Happy New Year begins
