Dear May,
I received your letter Monday, and was very glad to hear from you. You didn't say where you were going to spend your Christmas
vacation. I am sending you one little photo of mine, but I am trusting that you wont show it to your friend in School. For my sakes please don't as they are not good as I pulled off my over coat but not my scarf. so that made it look bad its only for you to get a glimpse at what you have left behind.
I must say your letter was very long but I havent very much to tell you only I am training very hard for my fight I just came home mother was just telling me its going to

early for the first time in three weeks. Well I havent any thing to do, as my job has given out until, after Christmas then I'll have to go back and work hard and then I can stay home. I
was in bed last night reading your letter and thinking of you. It snow a bit last night. We are playing Atlar of Long Branch
the 24th at Eliz. and at Long Branch 25th I wish you was here so that you could go with me as all the fellows are taking their girl friends.
Some how it don't seem like Xmas time to me Because you are not here. Well sweet heart I guess I'll mail this letter and go to bed as I am tired and its eleven o'clock. Dont show this photo trusting you
