Dear May,

Just a few lines to let you hear from me I must beg of you not to be too harsh in judging me. I, too,

have taken a long time to answer your loving missive. Please forgive me this time.

Well how did you spend Thanksgiving? I truly hope you spent a pleasant day, but did not over eat.

I went to Phila to see the Howard vs.

Lincoln Game and gee, I surely did have a swell time. I did not have the slightest chance of getting home sick. I hope you succeeded in your examinations.

Listen, just before I received your lovely letter Shelton asked about you. He did not know you had gone to school for he said he

missed you. The boys are just fine. Girls and boys are giving parties now so you can imagine the good time I am having

Well, I guess you have heard enough news from a small town. Everyone sends love. Please write me soon and a long long letter. I will tell you about a South America boy in the next letter.
