Dearest,

Your letter was received a day or so ago, and indeed it was a source of joy to read. It seems like a year since you went away I have been Thinking of you constantly day by day. If you only knew how I miss your loving. Sweet heart it's raining to day and I am not working and I decided to write you a letter.

I must say your letter was very sweet and I read it over & over. I got home that Tuesday night all right, Mother asked, me if you had gone in the news paper business on account of the long letter, I read it while eating supper. We are giving a dance Halloween night are up and enjoy yourself when you write a gain send me your brothers address.

you said that you had a full schedul I wish you all the luck in the world. Dear you know the girl who wrote in your album book about me or somthing relating to me, well if she is down there this year give her by best regard

Tell her I am going to invite her to our -----------. How did your School make out Saturday I think they lost as at A.T. School has a good team.

May if you only knew how I hated to see you go away, I dont think that you would have gone but it's the best to finish after going this far. As I said before I am coming down during your graduation exercise that is if I live that long and nothing happens to me. You must study hard and dont be thinking about me or no one else until you finish

I know you are bawling me out because you didn't receive this letter by Saturday morning. You must consider dear that I am under a terriable strain and that you must give me time and please dont get peeved over things like this I am working during the day going to School three nights aweek and club meeting in between on Tuesday night.

You see I have only one night and that is Thursday night and when that night come I am so tired and sleepy. You know I must be busy to work on Sundays, I worked last Sunday and I am working to morrow Sun Oct 4/25

So there fore Sweet heart I know you will for get when your letter come late to you Sweet heart what did you dream about me? want you write and tell me?

Yes, sir you're my baby so be sweet for me just as you were when I held you in my arms the night before you went away

Dearie we never know how much we miss the things we cherish most by untl its gone away then we relize what we missed.

You meant more to me that night than any girl every has meant to me why? Sweet heart I guess you are tired of reading this letter and as I havent much to tell you at the present time.

You know what I saw last night or this morning about two o'clock it was raining tad pole when all of a certain a man came down the street with only a shirt on barefoot walking in the rain he was sleep oh! no I didnt run because he was walking toward me.
