Oct 5, 1920.

My Dear Daughter.-

Mother received your letter came this afternoon I was at the station with Miss Mary she spent Monday night with me send lots of love and best wishes we are all very well I am so glad you passed & made so good for first B & I sure prayed for you. Benny send love he is sitting with his feet on apron of stove looking in catalog I had a letter from Gussie asking for that

address so I sent it to her yes Jesse sent you candy Mother opened it and look at it but will note take eny because I know you will enjoy evry peice of it Ill be sending it to morrow wed. I will send your dress next wk I want to make you another corset cover I had letter from Willie Friday and a card Friday that look like 2 wks dont it ha! ha! he made first year Theology and had to buy sheets pillow case & Blankets after he got them. oh Yes we ?registered? Sat and he put up

out she is at home now but not well B ?say? Hampton Mayo told him. I am enclosing you a card from Mrs Booth she sent you a letter frm Charles William you was lucky to have that much change left- Violet started teaching Chestnut Grove yesterday one of the teachers I am here yesterday frm Lynchburg name Miss Dickie boarding at Mrs Smith (Katie) all send love I must close Czar chicken pig all ok Helen left yesterday I'll send you a Bar of Palmolive Soap I'm so sleepy.
