Miss, May Yancey.

As I sit here to-night lonsome and blue I thought I would write to you. How are you getting along? I have promised my self not to write until you answer my last letter, but just to be sociable I have broken my promise. Just to let you know that I am still living.

You don't have to give me no grand alibi about you wrote last becouse I know you are not telling the truth so dont say nothing about it. if you had of wrote written I am shure I would have received it. It has been raining two days and night.

I remain and old friend
William Eason.
