Dearest Sweetheart,

your letter was recevid, an found me feeling som what better I am very glad that you are getting along fine; hoping that you will continue I have a terriable cold but I am trying to get rid of it. Your letter was so nice and sweet until I just pictured myself with you. Your letters are very good, but I guess you know I am not good at letter writing especialy when it come to the place of making love.

I prefer to love when we are together, well, do you know it, Ha! then to I guess yours is in return then through mail. I am hoping sweet heart that I can come down to see

you before you come home. I would like to spend a week down there just before you came back but then too people would talk. Baby if you only miss my loving as I miss yours I know that you are lonsome.

Yesterday Wednesday it certainly did pour down rain until this morning at 9 o'clock it stopped. There was a dance here to it went under because there were so many dances around until it was impossable to make on it. I saw your friend (Mrs.) Taylor she was asking when we were going to get married when I last heard from you when were you coming back, she wanted to know too much if she writes and ask you any thing don't tell her nothing she wants to know too much. Baby dear I be in bed at night thinking of you, and thinking how,

happy I could be if I only had you close by my side. I havent seen nor heard from Roger since I last saw you, I am going to call your mother up one day this week and may be I'll stop over at Reginald house Sunday if I feel like going to Newark. Be sweet and remember I am thinking of you each moment. I lost the ring that you gave me but I found it again.

Sincerely,
W.L. Eason
