My Dear Daughter

I am writing you to day Monday all at School Nora came on the Noon train from Rockfish and went to School I've been down to see Mrs Henretta Scott she is sick she had the measles then baby born but it is dead now she has been vry sick it is real warm & I have a cold so not feeling

?extra? hope you are well be careful this warm weather look out for your health. This guess you got Miss D. letter and the stamps she sent Benny is all ok now & grows much with little over 2 months & you will be home. I am saving you some can peaches Cherries Jellies & pickle we have ate a lot this winter but I put up right much. I had a letter from R Sat

same thing '5 00 for board this month and I was hoping it would only be a little of course he had to get underwear well the Lord will provide I hope. I want to send for your shoes last of this wk and do hope they will be all ok. have you got white stockings? my love to alta. I did not go out at all yesterday took a big dose of Black Draught & stayed in I heard from

Willie I sent him a box of home made candy he certainly did enjoy it Miss Mary spent the night with us sat night went to Chestnut Grove to see her Bro Mrs Thomas is better Violet gone back to her school. Well C coming from school & I must close be a good girl pray for strength of the Lord.
