Dear Friend:-

I guess you are surprised to receive this but I just wanted to write to you before now to tell you how I like Esmont, your home and your mother, oh she is just like my mother and Benny is just like

Wilson my brother, he remind me so much of Wilson.

Gee girlie but we are having some time here, just us three we have. turned the house halfway over, but if you were only here, we would have it level with the ground. We have made so much candy until Mrs. Yancey told us yesterday that we would

break Vanderbilt or Rockefeller but I just must be making something sweet all the time I certainly do want to see you and I wish you were here. I shall send you come candy in February when I get paid for January. I mean home made candy,

Oh I wish you were here, but I know you wouldn't take nothing for being

in boarding school, because I mean to say I had some good time last winter, I finished in May of 1920, and now teaching and oh it is such a hard job but I shall try to make out this session, but old man Terry gets on my nerves. I can't stand him

I shall close now, please write to me I certainly hope to see you before leaving Esmont
