Dearest Baby,

I have been home all day, and thinking of you, Oh! ever so much. I didnt go to work because I has been working in water, and I don't care to, so I decided to stay home and think of the future, and planing I have been looking at your photo and wishing that we were to gether it is raining now. I don't feel so well dear, I wrote you a letter last night but as I wasn't feeling well I made it short and went to bed early

Baby I hope during the time when I come down there that I may rest up and certainly need it when I have a Sunday off I am going up to Plainfield to pay the people a visit. I am going to send you a little present in return for yours. I am not going to wear them until I come down to see you.

Baby I wont to see you so awful bad, I will be glad when the time comes for me to be with my darling and to know that I will be loved so much by the one I love I am letting the letter I wrote last night stay in the envelope,
