Dearest May

I received the P.O. order yesterday Sat. I certainly appreciate your kindness so much I shall return it in a short time it sure pulled me through I too hope did not deprive Now I do hope you are real well we certainly have had a cold snap hope you have plenty of wood & do please be careful of fire as it keep so windy now I had planed to come down to day but Roads are so bad & so cold I decided to wait untill it gets a little better we are keeping up farely well but there there I are lots of sickness here I heard Cousin Susan had

gotten worse hope to hear from her tomorrow, how is your mother I havnt heard from her for near a month hope she's well, well I no you are begining to feel glad that the time is drawing near & Easter will soon be here Ha Ha I am real glad for you for it is so lonesome for you now I hope to be down as soon as roads are better & it gets a little warmer take care of your self & love to mother I suppose the children are still talking, Mr R Joins with me for best wishes
