Dearest May,

I am some what sleepy to-night and I thought I would write to you before retireing. I certainly enjoyed being with you Sunday night. Although it seemed kind of strange for us to be alone, as we never have those opportunities.

I hope that you don't get peeved over the short letter because there isn't any thing of very important I am going to try and come up there one night it may be Wed. night that is if it isn't too cold then I'll call you up dear. I hope you don't forget what we were speaking of because you know that's a serious matter.

I may call you up Wed. Excuse short letter dear and be sweet. It looks as though Santa Clause will be dead before he reaces my home

Be sweet

yours always,
Bill
