Dearest Mae,
Well-- I've waited and waited and looked and looked for a letter from you, so now, I just can't wait any longer, I must write
you, although you do owe me a letter
May, I was so surprised when Roger, told me the news (the good news) that tears came roll-

ing down my cheeks. I really couldn't help it for it came like "lightening out of a clear sky." Anyway I am certainly happy for you. I know that you are the happiest person in the world now. I know
I would be. Many congratulations to both of you. Please don't fail to tell Wm when you write next time. I am wishing you all the

happiness that can come to two people. never mind we'll be bringing up the rear soon. ha! ha! Say, Mae, how about waiting
for Roger and me and let us announce at the same time. that would be swell, wouldn't it? Tell it to Wm and you all think it over.
How is teaching this year? As enjoyable

as it was last? Hope so. Wishing you much success with your work. I wrote Roger for your address but can't wait any longer
to write you. I'm sure you'll get it as every body there knows you all.
Oh! I came near forgetting to tell you that I received a lovely cedar chest from one of my sisters yesterday. It is a dream.
All the front is band painted in green and red and the painting is raised.
Wish you could see it. I must stop. Mae Dear, please write me real soon.
Lovingly,
Adele.
when have you heard from your Mother & Roger? I owe your Mother a letter and must write.
