August 24, 1928

Dear May,

Just a line or so to let you hear from me and to know that I arrived home last Friday all safe. I found all well and glad to see me.

I am having a lovely time so far attending the meetings and meeting many people. I wish

you were here to enjoy some of my good times, and to enjoy some of the good old Fried Chicken that I have been eating since I have been here.

Well I guess you and Bill is just as loving as ever. Give my best regards and love to him when you see him.

I guess I have lost about 10 or 12 lbs. since I have been here, the loss does not hurt me

one bit. I feel just as fine as ever.

I saw Vann Ford and his wife last Sunday, They were just the picture of health.

Well you won't have many more days in Plfd. before you will be packing to leave.

I think I am going to see my Aunt Alice next week.

Well I dont think there is any more news to tell So you keep every thing
