Dearest "Babe."

your long letter was gladly recevid and you know how happy we are to when we hear from each other then you should know the joys that your letter brought to me. your letters are very interesting, I wish that it was impossiable for me to come down an be with you some Sunday afternoon. So that I may love you as I often have done then you wont be so lonsome. What does Rogers think of a Leap year wedding? I was thinking about ours, I wonders if he thinks the same as I does.

(page 2)

What do you think of a leap year wedding, are you superstitious? Sweet heart there isn't very much news for me to tell you about there is a big dance in Newark to 'night Thursday. I don't like dances any more Sweet heart I cannot write very much to night, because I feel blue. I wont you to hurry and come back to me I miss you so much. Each night and day I long for you just to hold you in my arms

Oh, well it wont be always, I'll try an pay up for lost time. Give my love to all. Excuse short letter.

Yours always,
Bill.
