Dearest Baby.

I arrived here safely but tired and sleepy. I am a little relieved now, Sweet heart I can't express in words how glad I was to see you. That was one of the happy days of my life. You was so sweet and dear dear to me, how I loved to feel your soft skin and kiss your sweet lips. I loved to hold you in my arms as it seemed to me like the days when you were here. It seems lonsome when you are away! But I have spent a day with you which I can sit and think of you, for a long time and picture your face as I last saw you.

Sweet heart I can't say how happy I was, because I was with you, I felt new I didn't feel like my self and then too dear you were so sweet and dear to me, How could I feel any way but happy. I called up your mother yesterday and we talked for a long time she was tickled to know that I went down to see you. I recived a invitation from your brother for a Halloween dance in Orange Friday night, 28th. Wish you were here I may go but I am not shure as I have began to train so I can make some money; for you and me

(page 2)

I drank part of the wine before I came home and I was some what lonsome coming home, but then too I felt better when I began thinking of the things we were talking over when we were to gether. I have been talking about your home town every since I came back, we have had a regular Conference Ha, Ha, Mother and father send their love, she said don't forget to let her know about her hams (cured) otherwise smoked. When you think you can get them let me know and I'll send you the money.

Please excuse pencil as I cannot find my pen and I wont you to get my letter so I may get and answer by Sat. Sweet heart It seems as though we are happiest when we are with each other. Sweet heart I hope you are getting along fine in School and be sweet until I see you again. The family wasn't expecting me until next Saturday Ha, Ha, They know how much I care for you Oh! well dear I am not going to write [missing text] a very long letter to'night as I know you'll be sleepy to night when you get it.

I remain yours,

always,
Bill,
