Dearest May.

Your letter was recived and I was waiting anxiously to hear from you. I am glad that every thing turned out all right and you are going to like teaching. Sunday was lonsome without you being here even though I was usualy late getting up there. I've been so lonsome and blue since you went away no one to lonesome. How I wish I could be with you at this very moment but in vain. I am sending you some of the snapshots that I was telling you about please send them back, I am going to send you the photo from the one you sent me next week. As I put the negative down some place in the house & cant find them I've planned to come down on the excursion this month and hope I am able to come down there to see you so that I may touch your soft hands and kiss you warm lips once again yesterday I got paid and the time keeper didnt put in all my time I was short and then too I owed every thing out. I had decided to by a suit but I dont know what to do as I havent got enough. I am sending your three dollars as I promised as I don't like to make promises and don't keep them even though I am late. My mother said that she would send you one of her photoes next week as the one she has she wonted to keep it as that is the first one she every had made.

(page 2)

I am sending two of my photoes with my nephew how do you like my boys; Ha, suppose that they were ours, I would be happy. Dont make fun of our snap shot. please dear send me the one you had taken at Plainfield on Sunday. I wont to see it. I will write more next time I am kind of in a hurry, dear.

Be sweet for me

yours,
Bill

These snap shots were taken in our back yard These aren't weed they are all flowers the reason I said this was to let you know that we havent got no red mud here Ha. Ha. I'll bet it's hard walking in the sand Oh, such sudden change in side walks.
