March, 9, 1927,

Dearest Sweetheart

Your letter was recived yesterday and indeed I was very glad to hear from you because it was from one whom I loved so long and so well, To me you are the sweetest girl in the world, will it allways be the same? let us hope so.

Yes, I too wish that we could be along to gether Yes, alone, but at the rate we are going we will be waiting for a long time as you don't seem to care much about going out with me any more unless it is to Church. I would like for you to come down to Eliz. Sunday afternoon and we could go to the Show of course the show in Newark isnt very good but if you prefer going to Newark, then we can go, but let me know whether you can come down or not

The fight was very successful but I got my ear cut and then my eye burst open again and I had three stitches put in this time. My mother didn't wont to let me go over and fight monday night because her left eye was quivering she believes in signs, Ha, Ha,. Then to I thought of what you told me Sunday about your eye.

Sweet heart you certainly can love, I didnt work Tuesday I stayed in bed until three o clock thinking of you. Only if you were with me how I could have enjoyed my sleep, in your arms

Why can't we go some place Sunday and be alone, so that we can enjoy our selves as we once has done. It is true that we love each other and I think that we have proven To each other the fact. Well dear I havent any more news.

I remain Yours truly,
William
