March. 23, 1927.

Dearest May,

I reached home O.K. and I really enjoyed myself while with you as it seem so long since we were to gether Indeed it was a source of pleasure to have you in my arms once more. I am kind of tired to-night as I worked very hard to' day; and then too I had to train for the fights. So you can see that I am tired and as soon as I can finish writing this note I am going to bed sweet heart and dream of you.

Can you read what I have wrote, as I've just woke up from my little nod Sweet heart you said some thing Sunday night which made me

feel so blue when you said [missing text] that I would never.....you because you said, "that I only wonted your body and then I would for get you, Havent you been knowing me long enough, to have just a little confidence in me.

By your expressing you don't believe what I said. Then if you doubt me, I'll say any time you wont to I'll prove to you that I mean to keep my word. But dear you know I have explained every thing to you and you agreed, because you know our Conditions at the present time. I hope that you can go to the Show Sunday as I heard that it was very good, If you cant go let me know, because I can stay home all day Sunday, To me you are the sweetest person in the world, and I can say no matter what happens I love you always.

Sweet heart I love you more than ever for what you did for me Sunday. You are my only love I enjoy holding you in my arms. I enjoy your Kisses most.
