Dear Cousin;

I have your letter to day. My trip to Esmont the last Sunday in April Was not much enjoyed. Esmont has nothing for its younger generation. There is no more community respect for folks young or old. The people have nothing more to live for. New Green mt. church has been locked up for a year or longer. New Hope has not had a pastor for nine months.
