My Dear Mother,
I received your letter and Box and money and was Very glad to hear from you. I am well and hope you May and Benny are the
same. Now about coming home I shall have about 8 or ten days I dont know which now but please send more than car fare for you know it is x-mas time then I hope you enjoyed your Thanks giving very much I went to Norfolk to Lawton's house on 777 B Avenue and Mrs Thomas were just as fine as any woman I wanted to see
I saw Violet also. We had for dinner Rabbit, Pork Chops, Sweet Potato, eight rolls and butter cabbage and Ice Cream

Some fine time. Violet say tell May to write her. I certainly did enjoy the box of candy and cake was fine I ate so much until
I was sick Sunday morning I vomited up every thing but I am all right now. It is only three weeks or more now before I shall see you all if nothing prevents. I also got a box from Miss Mary
Jane Jenkins also and three stamps something you all forget to put in letters to me! ha ha. Give my love to Benny May and
Norah when have you seen or heard any thing of Reginald Ford. When is Harold coming home when are you all going to kill hogs?

The School now owes me $73. and some cents and now I am making some money in Trade School now after Dec. 1st. How is Mrs Harris and family and Mr. & Mrs. Guriley and Helen Leslie and Mary and all of the people. I dont think Pauline will be able to come home xmas.

P.S. Hampton played union in Richmond on Thanksgiving but lost by a score of 10-0 foot ball one boy arms was broken. we lost al of the college games on account of poor decision given by referee.
