My Dear Mother,

I received your letter last night and was very glad to hear from you I, am well and hope you and May, & Benny are same. I am now working at my trade of printing and I have gotten my khaki uniform shoes

1 shirt 1 hat so you see I am pretty well off My cold is better now Tell Mr Mrs Lewis hello I saw Pauline Last night. I am very glad you explained things to Aunt Joe. I weren't so anxious about Katie's picture but thats all right. give my love Mr & Mrs Harris and Mr Mrs Guirley.
