Dear Cousin

I want to thank you for your kind ness in putting your signature at stake for me, but never be uneasy abut me , because I shall not deceave you; I thought it would pay to accept a Universal job , that I might be settle in life, that I might save a little for the future and old age.

This is the first time I have ever tried to use a machine. I shall always try here after. Tell me what do you think of my work ,when you write. One thing I like about this work I have so much tmie off.

Yes I saw Roger Sunday July (29) He is looking yery well.

I am also writting Rev. Harris, to-day ,too. Thanking him for hiskindness.

Irene is very well an wish to be remembered to you.

I know Iwant be able to visit your, meeting this Fall, since Iam here.
