Aug. 10, 1915

My dear Mrs. Yancey

your card was forwarded to me by a mistake it was missent & with a great ?eal? of my other mail. I expect I may be up there near about the same time your letter get there Now Mrs. Yancey words can not express how I felt when they wrote me Mr. Yancey was dead. I would have

written you before but I was first trying to see when could I get up there. I may run up there this week.

Oh! I will mis him so much when I come up there & I sure know that you & your dear children will misses him, but put all of your trust on the Heavenly

Father & he will never leave or forsake you. Oh Mrs. Yancey the Rock Fish Association did speak so highly on Mr. Yancey, Rev. ?? & Mr. Shelton both told me last Thursday it would be hard to find another such man as B.F. Yancey.

I shall not write much as I expect to see you soon. Love to you dear Children & tell them to be good Children. Love to Mrs. Harris & all friends
