My dear, dear Mrs. Yancey,

Lets track this out, you are to address me as "Josie" and not "Miss Pride" any longer. It really grates on my finer sensibility, so you see you'll have to mend your ways.

Well I guess Mr. Frank told you all of the happenings from beginning to end about the Tr's. meeting so I wont repeat. I saw Mr. Everett and told him about the "Great Mogul" and maybe things will come straight. I told Major Moton, Mrs Williams, and T.C. Walker and they asked me not to resign they

think they can manage that Lobster. Well I'm a little more settled in mind at present, anyway, and that counts, you know.

Julia and I certainly enjoyed Mr. Yancey's visit. We started to keep him, but I told Julia of the ?sweet? little woman at Esmont, so we decided we'd let him come back to you.

The Educational and Health meeting held here last night was just great. It would have done you good to hear some educated speakers once more. We nearly ate them up, because they brought school days back to us.

I do hope you like the rose and books. Is Miss Moore cussing me for not writing to her? Really I don't have time to write to people I don't love. Don't you know I forgot to send the money by Mr. Yancey and I forgot all about it until this minute. What must you think of me? I really haven't been received my cheque for Feb. or March either but I could have borrowed if I had remembered it. So much for not valueing money. Well, I'll send

it now as soon as I receive my cheque.

Dear little old Bennie, so he didn't want anybody to sit in my place. He is all right.

Remember me to friends. How about Isaac coming to see me!! O you kid!!! I made an impression didn't I?

Love to Mae, Roger, and Bennie.

Remember me to Mr. yancey

Lovingly,
Josie
