Dear Cousin Yancey:

Here we are up in Blue Ridge Mountain of Virginia, at Bridgewater College, attending The American Christian Ashram, taught by Dr. E. Stanley Jones of India. We will have been here ten days, and we go from here to the Baptist World Alliance, Cleveland, Ohio, for the next ten days.

They have some of the best teachers that we have ever heard, from all over the world. This is also a beautiful College campus (white) of course. They have 298 whites, and we are the only Negroes, so it is some place, I am telling you. We all live together, and go to classes likewise.

We have been to five conventions already this summer. Florence does the driving, and she goes places too. The car has not one dime yet, other than gas and oil.

Love to all, and write us about the middle of August, as it will be about that time when we get back home. Your Letter came here to us.

This College is about fifty miles from Staunton, Va.
