Feb. 27- 1911

Mrs. Forsyth:-

There is a domestic Science teacher here sent out by the Jean fund to give instruction in the public school.

I write to see if you can use your influence in some way, so that I could have a few of my older children go down and re-

ceive some instruction it would be so helpful to them.

I did not know of this teacher coming until She was here otherwise I would have communicated with you before this.

I thought through Prof. Alderman he could help us some, as this teacher has to report to a Mr Everet, I think that is his name. He has his headquarters in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Forsyth, I do not know if it has been explained to you why the people are having this winter school but it is [missing text] to the crowded crowded condition of Public School there were so many that a part of the time The children would receive no instruction. The Domestic Science teacher will give a lesson This Friday Mrs. Forsyth I hope you will do what you can for us. This has been written very hastily but; I trust I have made
