Dear Pal

how are you. I do hope you are well I am not so well the Arthritis is about to get the best of me it seem to have settled in my back. however may be as the weather warms up may be it will be better. we had a real snow storm here Easter but as it rained the first 3 days of the week it was soon all gone. it turned off

quite a bit warmer yesterday than it has been and today was realy glorious Emella is not at all well, and too She has had a great deal of worry. Louise was in the hospital for 3 weeks She is home now but still not able to do any thing. Well Dear heart I was to Church this morning and evening too heard 2 wonderfull sermons. I do hope

I will have the pleasure of hearing Rev. Hughes once more before I pass on. I cant say just when I will get to Va but I am mightily anxious to give my love to Rea and all other friends. allso to your children when you write. [missing text] and you please write me again soon. thanking you for that lovely birthday Card. with love and best wishes
