Dear Mr. Yancey,

Your letter received and we were very glad to hear from you. We were very much interested in what you told us of your life and also of your work in Hampton. We spent some time at Hampton during the winter of 1917

and were also very much interested in the dairy work. We hope that you will be able to carry out your desire to be a doctor.

Hampton is a beautiful place. We have been interested in it for many years and are very thankful that we have been able to help so many boys and girls

We intended to get down again in October but on account

of the Influenza deemed it best to remain at home. Then we wanted to come down to the Anniversary exercises but find that it will be impossible, but perhaps sometime before you get through we will be able to come and see you and renew our acquaintance with all again.

We are very glad that we are able to help you and would like to hear from you

at any time.

My sisters wish to be remembered to you

I must close now

Yours
L. B. Ramage
