Dear Grandma

How are you? I hope this later finds you in the best of health and happiness.

I arrived tired but safely Monday morning about 7:30 A.M. I had to stand up all the way from Newark to Washington. The train was simply jammed pack. I guess daddy and sister told you I just did make the train (smile).

The weather is very warm. With just about everyone wearing sweaters and suits.

I do hope that you arrived home very safely and rested. I enjoyed seeing you very much grandmother as you were looking fine, and just

as young as when I last saw you. I wish both of use could have stayed longer as I certainly did enjoy my stay. Thanks ever so much for the socks and the sewing of my buttons on and well thanks for just every thing. Your inspiration and kind words were just what I needed to spur me on.

Tell everyone I send love, and will try and write to them when time permitts. I will also try to write you more often. Take care of yourself and don't work to hard. again I wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year and may god bless you. I am closing now hoping to see you very soon.

Your Loving Grandson
Billy

P.S. Pray for me.
