Dear Grandmother;

I arrived here at the Air base saftley, we got here around 4'O'clock Sunday. The trip was very nice, we were feed very well and I slept very well. This Army life is very tough, we have 5 weeks of basic training, and from there we will be send to another base. We get up at 4:45 in the morning and its still dark outside we go to bed at 10 O'clock. Some time we have to go on guard duty but they haven't called me yet. What I am trying to do now his go to tech.school. We also have to shave every day. The food his very good. Tell everyone I send Love and that I am doing find. I will write soon, for right now I have to get ready for bed.

Your Loving Grandson
"Junior"
