Feb 12, 1950.

My dear Mrs. Yancey:-

I am really ashamed for long delay in answerig your kind and consoling letter it did so much for me at that time, I can never for get you for thinking of me at that time. Every one has been so very nice to us. My dear mother often spoke of the nice time she had when she visited your home and the time

that you all came here. Mother was never down in Bed sick she did have several mild heart attack.

My Bro Roy died in Sept very suddenly and it was such a shock to her till she must hade worried to her self a lot. I miss her some much till I can dont wont to come home ?any? my days off. she was such good company and companion for me. had a short letter from Bee and said you weren't feely so well.
