Feb. 8th 1932.

Dear Mrs Yancey:-

It will be useless for me to attempt to express my gratitude to you and the family for your earnest consideration of me in my recent sickness from accident. or even to tell you my experience in this time of sickness. It is with God only, to know the things humanity is passing through. I was quite sick for a few days but as my eyes began to open to the suffering of others who were much werse than myself I think I forgot myself for quite a few days, and came from the Hospital a few days before I should have, but after I got home I began

to feel worse agan.

However I am feeling very fair to night. I was at the Hospital to day and they unwired my Jaw after having them wired for a month and two days, I cannot open my mouth yet, I can only get my finger between my teeth but I think I can manage to eat again real soon.

I thank you for the Post Card, I think so much of it I have placed it in my Bible, glued it in.

We are so glad to keep in tuch with you all. Pray much and earnest for these times need our prayers. I am striving to hold to the house of the Almighty

Over.
