Aug. 8th 1939

Dear Mrs. Yancey:

Yours received quite some time ago, should have answered long ere now but I miss laid your letter so you will I know pardon my long delay. I certainly notice with care every word of your letter, sorry you have not been so well, hope by now you are real well through the goodness of the Master.

I am certainly not married again and think it will never happen. I am further from it in mind than I was a year ago.

I think it a good plan to emulate

Well then; the long standing indebtedness to you had long been in my mind but to save my life it seemed as though I could not get to pay on that debt. However I am going to make every effort to settle as soon as posible.

Hoping I may be able to let you hear from me before long, in the mean time I hope your health will be fine.

Kindly remember me to the children and to Cousin Mollie Pray for us here we need the prayers of God's children.
