Dear Mrs Yancey

Yours to hand some time ago found all very well Well I ?have? goten the cleaning up on all your place started at last. I ?tried? sevel people & all said it was not enough for what I wanted did & the way I wanted & that is why George Irving did not take the job I Beleave he think it was two much for him so I got a white man that is doing the Job & I am going theair often I see to him that he do it to the Contract & he want to get thru about the 20 or 21 ?week? every thing & I told him that he would get his moey when the Job was compleated so I write to tell you Just what was Being did so you could send me his moey be that time & should he not finish I will keep Back so much Untill he do so he is looking to me & I to him & I will see that this wont be like the other that did this for you

& when he get throu then I want to get a good Team & then plow this up & get all the Roots out so this cleaning wont ever have to did again Well I dont know of any news to write you Mrs. Caroline Cory have been Very sick But better Ada is home with hear ?Clabrone? ?Bross? is yet in the Hospital not doing so well Ella and Leana is well this is hog killing you should of Ben hear I kill ?are? weigh 527 & 1307 & 1260 1094 For the 3 hogs so you see the [missing text] go on I want to leave some thing to Eate if No mony love to the children & hope you will have a nice [missing text]
