Dear Mrs. Yancey:-

[missing text] I tell you Why I have delayed so long answering your very highly appreciated letter contents noted Would love to have been with you and to have seen the children

It is true I was sick and out from work ten (10) days. I went to the Hospital as I was taken sick (or with the nose bleeding) on my way to Church, and after I got to the Hospital I had the Hemorage, and for over 1 1/2 a half one and a half hour I was pretty sick.

Now I paid my taxes and dont see Why they are grouped With the delenquents.

(page 2)

again should have seen Rev. Scott and also Hon. Roger Yancey it would have been a happy meeting. I am trying to come up to Esmont, and hope I can get there soon. I have been ?supplying? here for my pastor for nearly (2) two months he being, but I hope you he will soon be out again.

You have as ?gooder? show for the lot there as any one.

Hope to see you soon Till then I remain as ever yours in Christian love
W.A. Harris- over

My Brother has been here with me over a week and that took so much of my time I just could not write
Much love to all.
W.A.H.
