suffering a heart attack while en route home from
the funeral of a friend, Mrs. Betty Pollard. Mrs.
Walker was in the car with her husband. She had
become ill upon leaving Calvary Baptist Church,
where the service for Mrs. Pollard was held, but
went on to Hillside Cemetery. On the way home, Mrs.
Walker felt worse, so her husband drove up
to the emergency entrance of Muhlenberg Hospital. Mrs.
Walker was pronounced dead on arrival at the
institution.
Mrs. Walker was born in Whiteville, N.Y., and
resided in Plainfield about 40 years. She was a
member of Mt. Zion AME Church, Rebecca Chapter 103,
Eastern Star, and Terrill Tent 34. She was the
daughter of Mrs. Annie W. Moore of the W. Third St.

and mother are the only survivors.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday
