Dearest Mother Yancey,

I don't believe I have written you since Vacation time, but I have not been well-

Last week I became quite ill with a temperature running from 101-to 104 In fact at times I just about given up

every thing. But with the Doctor coming day and night and a nurse friend with me most of the time I feel some what ?better?.

Mother Yancey could you lend me 25.00 for a month. You know how sickness can run up bills-

I have not told any one else in the family about being sick because in a few weeks I be quite all right.

Will you also please ask Roger the Value of the Bands because I think it is time they were sold also-

Please let me hear
