Dearling Mother,

First I must say I passed in everything Thanks the Lord. I recd. the board money & money for My hat and Many thanks for it I am going to the city tomorrow and get it also a white slip to wear under My dress. Mother I am hoping to see you next Saturday if nothing prevents and you must tell Miss Mary & them about it. we are having our play on Monday Night instead of Tuesday as is stated on the invitations. I received my application blank to fill out and shall do so at once for the school next year. Well the school year is over but we are very busy practising for our class play & we have to make our costumes now. Did you send for my white shoes? Oh, Mother many thanks for the stockings they were simply lovely. We are invited to president ?Gaudy's? for a reception saturday evening at 7 p.m. All seniors. I am wearing My flowered dress then. It is very warm here now. We may get our certificates Saturday evening & the play is Monday night or we may get them after the play Monday night. Anyway I dont care just so I get mine I have worked hard enough for it. well the next thing is carfare & I hope that will be here by next Thursday. because I am leaving early Saturday

Morning & I guess I will let them take my trunk to Spooner Avenue also as I dont have a place to work yet & then I am tired any way as I have studied so hard. Tell me what to do. I hope you are well & that was so very sad of Mrs. ?Betts? death. I had already sent her an invitation. How, is Roger I cant here any thing from him I shall drop him a card tomorrow. I am glad they have a church pastor at new Hopes and I hope the people will get settle once again I have got to pay .50 for my certificate so I hope I shall have enough left to pay for it After I get my hat. You have to work for it & then pay for it ha. ha. Well we are free now except busy practicing but we cant leave until Saturday 12th, but every thing will be over for us Monday Night, Well I shall tell you every thing soon.
