Dearest Mrs Yancey

enclose you fine $5.00 for rent of last month I stayed in your house I just cant tell you how I thank you for your kindness we have nail up house

I go put in glass that got broke out by wind closeing the door, but we nail the door so no one could get in unless braking in I put your [missing text] up of ?corse? the rod is burn-out Mrs Ford was there and help taking it down and seen there are no rod they ?just? come all in too now please excuse me for being so long writing but I didn have the money untill now so much sickness and nothing to do.
