Dearest Mother,

I recd. your lovely letter and Many thanks for the lists of names you sent me but you forgot Mrs. Jenkins & Susie also my dear friend William but I shall try and make them go around

How are you getting along mother dear? I am so anxious to see you all. And I am Certainly hoping I shall soon be there. I heard from Alta & she ask me to write to the supt. about the school, so I did. We are having our final exams. the 26 & 27 of this month and please pray that I may pass in my mathematics as it is getting harder and harder

And I am sure about my five other subjects I have passed in them as I made good marks but my math worry me as it is a minor subject but if you dont pass in it you will have to repeat the subject and I cannot afford to do that and I cannot afford to stay here this summer, so I am praying to finish. I know the candy was lovely I wish I did have a taste. Ah, Well I hope I wont always be here and miss the good things. Mother I shall have to have board before I take my finals As they will not allow permits to be issued on that day so please have the money no later than the 24th and a little before if you can, but surely then. Also mother I will have to have $2.50 for costume for class play by Wednesday of next week and please send me about 5 extra if you can, yes I am broke and it is always so seemingly here of late. No Mother I will not need a suit case I dont think

but I broke my key and am sending it to you and will you please have another made and send it to me please. Tell pearl I shall write her soon How is Margret Davidson? Tell Roger I shall look for Invitation soon. Has he taken his job in Postoffice as yet. I am planning on leaving here sometime After the 9th of June we are having our exercises on the 8th but owing to other things we wont be able to leave just then. Dont forget the money for Costume Please and board. Take care of you self and may God Bless you is my prayer.
