Dearest Mother,

I recd. your sweet letter And also the registered letter Many, Many, thanks for it as It surely did come exactly on time. I really did enjoy reading your very nice letter it was so very interesting and newsy. I like to read them. Mother you were so sweet to send me the xtra $1.00 as we always need some xtra change on this hill. I hope some day soon I shall be able to pay you back And do what ever else I can. well we are having some very pretty weather and it seems very much like spring now. Well Easter is here almost And I suppose the people will shine next Sunday we are having from Thurs-

day evening to Tuesday Moring for holiday and quite a number of Students are planning on going home.

We or rather some members of the Senior class are planning to give a Easter hunt. fourteen boys & fourteen girls I am included in the bunch, We'll will wear bloomers white sweater and tennis shoes, and little old caps we are to give .15 to help fixed the lunch, we are to be chaperoned by four teachers, but they are young [missing text] so we will have fun I hope, that's if it dosent rain. I have a very bad cold but am taking medicine for it that the Nurse gave me. I dont know why I keep such a cold. I don't ever hear from Willie and ?Morten?

I guess they have gone on the strike. I heard from Wm Tuesday. My, My Mouth ran water when you told me of the menu I bet Mother's cooking was fine. I knew could do it if you once got settled. Yes we shall have to attend to the invitations I guess we will have some printed. Anyway I wont fail to send them ha. ha. Oh About the stockings, I shall want Chiffon Gunmetals hose with pointed heels as on my perfectly good black ones You sent me I am very proud of them. Say I wish that I was home today it is such a pretty day. Yes, I shall have to try and get me a little cheap hat but they say hats are high in the city. but I guess I can get something nice and reasonable. That is sad ?of? ?Prentin? ?Terral? but I donot know him. Tell Roger to write

Me [missing text] dress up pretty. trimming it in black velvet, And having a circular front. My shoes I hope will be ok. I hope they wont be very long and not two wide ?neither? pointed toes as they are out of style. I have lots of lesson to get out as we went to School Yesterday (Sat.) so we could have Friday off for Easter. Give my love to every one and Mrs. Hall & Edna. I am hoping that I can make good in My exams the first six weeks as we have so many things to do practising for Commencement play and then we are giving our pageant over again Tuesday night and Carter Woodson the Author of our Negro History will be here and speak also our pageant is Called the "Egyptians Gate Way."

I have written you a long letter, will ans. Beatrice letter also. Tell pearl hello.
