My dearest Cousin:-

Just a few lines to let you know I am Still in Esmont. But realy Cousin Harriet I am just ashame of my Self for not Writing no more than I do, you know just put it of from time to time thats why but hear after I am going to do better, This leaves all well at home and all send love to you

I am over at Mothers Now. She is well and send love to you. We are realy having Winter down here plenty of [missing text] snow and rain and Very Cold. And so much sickness and deaths Mr. Adam Jorden got kill Monday at the qurrey, and Aunt ?Matldia? ?Thomes? is dead, Mrs Johnson, you know Jennie Johnson mother, and Floria White ?Purey? Rush Mrs ?Channie? Dill and all these peaple died in side of two weeks and I for got to tell you about Irene Iren ?Nentson? but, I guess you know

Cousin Harriet I thank you so Very Much for the papers I did injoy reading them so much. I am going to send May a Cake this Week and Mother going to send her a Chicken. We had a nice Christmas and got a good Meny Presents. The Church and Sunday School, and school is all gitting on nicely Sundy coming Rev. White will be here, They are hoping he will be pastor, also They think Green

Mounting Church will open Sunday but thouse peaple are ?not? right yet. Yes Herrbert Herbert was home x-mas he look well Oh, grandpapa was so glad to see him. grandpapa is Much better now he can come over home now.

Cousin Mellie Nelson sent to Washington for Christmas She looks fine sence she come ?home?, Violet Jinkins Will be home to day for to stay with her Mother-in-law, She is not so well, I was quite surprise to heare hear of
