Dear Mrs. Yancey,

You can't imagine how much joy your sweet, motherly letter brought me. It makes me feel so good to know that you are interested enough in me as to give me such helpful advice. Really your letter reminded me so much of my own Mother's letters. I shall

take your advice and follow by it. I appreciate your interest in me very much indeed.

We are having some very cold weather now, and plenty of snow. We have had several snow storms within the last two weeks and in some places the snow is waist deep and above. The streets are kept pretty clean though. We are having lots

of fun sleigh riding now. We sleigh ride on the ?Public? highway though so of course we have to be very careful.

Yes, I am settled for the winter and I hope for the summer also. Anyway, I'm planning on remaining here all summer. In the fall, I am planning on entering Pratt in Brooklyn. I do hope that my plans will work out all right for this fall and not be blasted

as they were last fall.

How are you getting on Mrs. Yancey? I do hope that you are enjoying the best of health.

Remember me to Mae when you write her again. I know she enjoyed that good box of eats that you sent her at Christmas time. Yes, I did receive your Christmas card. It was very nice.

I heard from Roger last Saturday. Do you see him very often now? You must write me real soon.

Sincerely,
Adele.
