Prof. B.F. Yancey,
Dear Sir:

Your letter of Oct. 18th, 1910 to hand. I am glad that you are on the look out for us. We need all assistance that we can get now. We are not going to die anythime soon. Don't do any talking but work and agitate.

You will get some copies of "The Shepherd" in a few days. Send back for more if you want them. The law suit is the last struggle before death The next thing will be the funeral and the burial. Then we will have you come down and preach the funeral.
