March 6, 1907.

Worthy Bro.

I hope you have not given up all hopes. I wrote you a postal some time in Jan. Stating, That nothing could be accomplish until weather opens. Since then I had a letter from Mrs. Yancey- I answered. She wrote concerning taxes for 1906. I told her I would see to them. I shall go over to C'ville Very soon & will attend to it for you.

Now concerning plans of last fall. The weather has been so severe nothing could be accomplish. I have ?bargain? to have plot of land cleared that you spoke of last year. Mr. Robert Lewis has contracted to clear & crop on same during this year. Nothing has been done in regards to saw mill. Same promise nothing more.

(page 2)

Several parties desire to buy small plots of land. That portion they wish to buy will not profit you anything otherwise for it adjoins their land. also it is divided from other parcel of land by a road regular used- Very small amt. of timber. You can sell at a good price. Now I'd like to see you reap some benefit on land.

Mr. Gibbs has offered $2.75 for lumber on stumps. The nearest Saw Mill to your property now is 2 1/2 miles I've tried to sell to them Can not get them to any reasonable price. As the weather is opening up shall have more to write you I hope. about the posts- I understand your last statement but could get a soul to do athing unless $3.50 per day for team The roads & distance were against you.

Hope you & family well Love to all all send love

I am sincerely,
B.F. Yancey
