My dear Sister,
How are you these November days?
I trust you that your cold is much better.
I am sure that you are enjoying your career as a teacher. you are a good teacher; there is no doubt about that.
Well, I have been invited by Adele's Sister to come to Norfolk

to spend Thanksgiving with them. She wants me to come up and surprise Adele you see, Adele knows nothing about the invitation
to come. I shall go probably, tho I must first consult Mother.
Mother is well. I expect to see her tomorrow, (Sunday)
I have seen William once since you left. I am sure everything is "40" with you all.
Well, I've decided to wait until Spring

before making the "Grand Plunge."
On Monday night of last week, I was elected President of the Hampton Alumni Association of North Jersey. The election was
unanimous.
Hilda Johnson is expected to come up tomorrow on a one day vacation I may see her.
In case I dont send you a Thanksgiving postal, I here and now Wish for you a Happy and well spent day

Mother tells me that our home is beautiful; Wish that I could see it now.
