Prof. B.F. Yancey
Dear Sir:
I am writing you to ask if you will oblige me by allowing me and Mrs. Pope, Mrs. Mary Claiborne, & Miss Delia Pope to stop
with Mrs. Jennie F. Jones of Esmont She is an acquaintance of mine and I have written her that I am coming and will try to
stop with her and bring these other ladies providing you have no objection. I would like also for Mr. Hewin to stop there
if it does not inconvience you in your arrangements with the Board. I leave it all with you. Hope to see you Monday if all ends well.
Yours in H. F. & D. Mattie Hewin
