Excerpt: Was ever the like heard of! Waynesboro actually calling Richmond an "Ass!" We beg Richmond not to feel hurt by this piece of impudence. The "Lion" will take the saucy little jay in hand before long. In other words, Staunton will extend her corporate limits over Waynesboro, and, while giving her the benefit of our new market ordinances will restrain her garroulous propensity.
